We have a network of Marketing Partners throughout the world who can provide commercial information, technical support and training. If you have PIPENET Classic with a maintenance update and support agreement with us, you can obtain an upgrade to PIPENET Vision.

Question 8: What special features does PIPENET offer?

  • Colouring of any component according to an attribute or a result
  • Ability to import graphical underlays.
  • Any component attribute or result value can be displayed on the schematic
  • Export of schematic to HP-GL/2 plotting file.
  • Spreadsheet view of component attributes and results
  • Data and results can be copied from the data window to an ExcelTM (or other) spreadsheet
  • Schematic overview window. The network can be ‘panned’, enabling quick scanning
  • Unlimited Undo/Redo facilities

Question 9: What are the Add Multiple Pipes and Add Multiple Nozzle options about?

The Add multiple Pipes and Add Multiple Nozzles ( Spray / Sprinkler only) options are found the Tool menu, and are provided as a quick means of defining any number of similar pipes or nozzles using nothing more than a few mouse clicks.

Question 10: What is a schematic graphical underlay?

A graphical underlay may be imported and displayed as a background to the main schematic. The graphical underlay may be zoomed independently of the main network to achieve relative scaling and registration, and its intensity can be adjusted.
Graphical underlays can be imported from an AutoCADTM DXF file, WindowsTM enhanced metafile (.EMF), or a Windows metafile (.WMF file extension).
